2011 MTV Movie Awards Live Coverage will be held on June 5, 2011. This is MTV’s way to recognizing all top rating movies of the current and previous year. A very long list of nominees was released recently by MTV. There is is no confirmed names on who’s going to host the said event. The awards that were on the line are Best Movie, Best Male Performance, Best Female Performance, Breakthrough Male, Breakthrough Female, Best Villain, Best Comedic Performance,Best Kiss, Best Fight, Best Scared-As-S**t Performance, Biggest Badass Star, Best Jaw Dropping Moment, and Best Line.

Watchmen is an American superhero film. directed by Zack Snyder and released in 2009. Based on the 1986 comic book limited series Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, the film adaptation stars Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Matthew Goode, Stephen McHattie, Matt Frewer, and Carla Gugino. Set in 1985, the film follows a group of former vigilantes as tensions heighten between the United States and the Soviet Union while an investigation of an apparent conspiracy against them uncovers something even more grandiose and sinister. The film began shooting in Vancouver in September 2007 for release on March 6, 2009. As with his previous film 300, Snyder closely modeled his storyboards on the comic, but he chose not to shoot all of Watchmen using chroma key and opted for more sets.

2012 is an upcoming American disaster science fiction film directed by Roland Emmerich. The film has an ensemble cast, including John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Woody Harrelson. The film will be distributed by Columbia Pictures. Filming began in August 2008 in Vancouver, and is expected to be released worldwide on November 13th, 2009.

Terminator Salvation is an upcoming American science fiction post-apocalyptic war film set for release on May 21, 2009. Directed by McG, it is the fourth Terminator film and stars Christian Bale as John Connor and Sam Worthington as the Terminator Marcus Wright. It also introduces a young version of the first film’s hero, Kyle Reese, played by Anton Yelchin. The film, set in 2018, focuses on the war between humanity and Skynet. It abandons the formula of previous entries in the series, which involved the Terminator and various other characters traveling through time to protect or kill John Connor. It is both a sequel and prequel to the previous films.
